The goals of the IDEA are to further strengthen the acquisition and dissemination of useful and accurate information regarding diabetes mellitus and allied metabolic diseases and not only to improve the physical and socioeconomic welfare of persons afflicted with these disorder but also to general people, socities, provinces, states and country at large.
